LexisNexis U.S., a provider of information and services solutions, has announced that LexisNexis news content subscribers will have access to more global coverage and vertical-specific content.
Content additions to the LexisNexis online service, include: Global Broadcast News and Political/Public Policy Blogs including inewsnetwork, a global broadcast network that provides manual broadcast notations, translations and verbatim transcripts in English and manual notations in Spanish, French, Dutch, and Portuguese; and USNews.com published by U.S. News & World Report provides breaking news; Economic, Company, and Executive News, and Compliance including The Associated Press Financial News, which provides coverage of 1,000 U.S. companies, plus international corporations, GuideStar, which offers information about the programs and finances of more than 1.5 million IRS-recognized nonprofit organizations, including information from their IRS form 990 filings, and Sheila Greco Associates, which provides corporate and executive information; Energy Sector Publications including Hart Energy Publishing, which includes coverage of the global energy industry; and Public Policy Newsletters, including Inside Washington Publishers, which issues newsletters on federal policy in the areas of defense, trade, health care, aviation, energy, and the environment.
LexisNexis U.S. has also announced the introduction of the LexisNexis Advertising Red Books Global Brand Guide, a two-volume printed directory containing an index to more than 180,000 brands and a listing of the 25,000-plus companies that own them. Through this reference guide a user can cross-reference brands with their parent companies and vice versa. The guide's company listing section contains an alphabetical listing of companies that own brands, and if they report to a parent organization. The brand and product index provides a short description of the brand, trade name, product, or slogan. The new Advertising Red Books Global Brand Guide from LexisNexis provides specialized information on brands and products. This includes data on more than 175,000 personnel contacts at different levels of seniority and in various departments, from advertising and branding professionals, to public relations and sales executives.
