LexisNexis Academic Announces Prototype with New Interface

Jun 23, 2006

LexisNexis U.S., a provider of information and services solutions, has announced a new LexisNexis Academic service prototype with new features and functionality for the corporate and federal marketplace.

The new redesign LexisNexis Academic service's search forms support natural language searching with proprietary LexisNexis query analysis and relevancy ranking. Users will have access to a collection of news, legal, and business information, allowing them to search across areas of content. Through the new interface and enhancements to the LexisNexis SmartIndexing Technology, users' search results will be displayed in organized category clusters such as subject, industry, or company. The new LexisNexis Academic service will launch in summer 2007, with a Beta release available in January 2007.
