Knovel, a provider of Web-based application integration for technical information and analytical tools, announced that members of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) now have access to Knovel. Notable functionality includes simplified navigation, improved browsing and user interface, as well as the ability to save and organize frequent searches, titles, and content. ASME is also offering free access to a collection of Knovel's content and interactive tools.

ASME members, comprised of more than 120,000 mechanical engineers and technical professionals, will continue to access Knovel through ASME's e-Library. Members can use the e-Library to find answers to technical questions and take advantage of data analysis tools. Knovel has been offered as a member benefit in ASME's e-Library since 2005.
