Knovel Adds Publishing Partners

Knovel, which provides a web-based application that integrates technical information with analytical and search tools, expanded its range of partners. Adding four publishers in the first quarter of 2011, Knovel now partners with more than 75 societies and publishers globally, to ensure engineers can access trusted sources of technical content across 25 engineering subject areas. In the past year, Knovel added 10 partners and expanded its content offering nearly 20%.

Among the partners Knovel has added most recently are United States Pharmacopeia (USP), Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM), and The Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME). Headquartered in New York City, Knovel is used by thousands of engineers and applied scientists, both in companies and at universities worldwide.
