Japanese software vendor JustSystems released version 6.0 of XMetaL XMAX, an embeddable ActiveX component, and XMetaL Developer, an XML configuration tool. The 6.0 releases will broaden support for for a wider variety of customized XML formats. Included in both products is the autocorrect and background spellchecking feature, W3C XML Inclusion support, support for the W3C XML schema, "xs:redefine," and support for Windows 7.
