ICC has teamed up with IRN Research to provide business information with intelligence in a new pay as you go service called CMA (Company and Market Analysis). The new CMA service uses the power and information of ICC's Plum and Aquila databases and a team of IRN research staff for advice and guidance. It is suited for companies and organizations that need occasional but in-depth information on companies or markets. The service is designed to avoid situations where companies pay for research time that they do not use.
The backbone of the ICC Plum and Aquila databases has daily updates on 4.4 million UK and Irish companies. The information is up to date and the reports that can be generated from the database include financial reports for competitor intelligence, credit ratings and credit risk, business-to-business prospect lists, and industry trends and structure with peer group reviews. IRN Research is a market research and information consultancy for delivery of research, business information, and statistical analysis. The Bonnier Group, a Swedish media, publishing, and information company, has a 25% shareholding in IRN Research through its UK subsidiary, Key Note, the market research publisher. The Bonnier Group also owns ICC outright.
