Hemholtz Association Goes Open Access With SpringerOpen

The Hemholtz Association, a German scientific organization composed of 16 research centers specializing in areas such as health, transport, and energy, has signed an agreement with SpringerOpen for an open access membership. Through this membership, the Hemholtz Association will be able to more easily publish research results from participating Hemholtz research centers in both SpringerOpen and BioMed Central journals. It was reported that the Hemholtz Association is the latest in a group of more than 340 institutions to submit for SpringerOpen membership.
