Open Text Corporation, provider of Livelink, collaboration and knowledge management software for the global enterprise, has announced that Professional Value Added (PVA), an Open Text Affinity Partner and provider of high-tech and software consultancy services to government agencies and Fortune 500 companies, uses Livelink MeetingZone to conduct necessary, secure, real-time business meetings with its US federal government and armed forces clients, eliminating the security checks compulsory for onsite meetings. With the advent of Livelink MeetingZone, PVA was able to eliminate many on-site meetings, while still benefiting from the collaboration characteristic of a real-time meeting. PVA can set up and attend Livelink MeetingZone meetings using a standard Web browser, empowering real-time collaboration and eliminating the time-consuming security clearance activities of onsite meetings. Integrated within the secure environment of Livelink, MeetingZone leverages Livelink's robust collaboration and knowledge management functionality, facilitating the exchange of ideas and knowledge capture. PVA stores the information generated during a meeting in the Livelink repository for reference or use at a later date.
