Google Acquires FeedBurner

Jun 05, 2007

Google has acquired FeedBurner, a Chicago-based company that provides media distribution and audience engagement services for blogs and RSS feeds. Its Web-based tools, including a feed and blog advertising network, can help publishers promote, deliver, and monetize their content on the web and make feed-based content more accessible and manageable for its end users. The terms of the acquisition are confidential, and the deal is officially closed. The FeedBurner website will remain operational as FeedBurner continues to integrate its technologies with Google's tools.
