Glenayre Messaging, a division of Glenayre Technologies, Inc. and a global provider of messaging solutions, has announced its new Active Messaging content offer, a pairing of the company's Versera Active Messaging capability with a content delivery platform and content portfolio. The offer will allow mobile operators to drive uptake and consumption of content by transforming a high-frequency touch point like the voice or video mailbox into a marketing and distribution channel.
Targeted for availability in the fourth quarter of 2006, this new offer will provide operators with a solution that includes Active Message content templates, an integrated content storefront application, and subscriber delivery and notification engines. The solution will also give operators access to content, content management capabilities and Digital Rights Management support, fulfillment, billing, and reporting services for content usage.
To create this offer, Glenayre has teamed with End2End, a provider of outsourced solutions for mobile data. End2End will provide content, content delivery infrastructure, and services components as a managed service for the offer. Versera Active Messaging will permit operators to push personalized interactive content and promotional offers to the voice and video mailboxes of targeted subscribers. The Active Messaging content offer gives operators the ability to immediately interact and engage with subscribers.
