Fujitsu, Hitachi, and NEC jointly announced that the three companies plan to publicly open and demonstrate an environment for a business grid computing system, starting on June 20. The companies will network Fujitsu's Platform Solution Center, Hitachi's Harmonious Competence Center, and NEC's iBestSolution Center and demonstrate the effects and advantages of business grid technology by using business grid middleware, software for the business grid computing system. The three companies have been developing the middleware in the Business Grid Computing Project that has been initiated orchestrated by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry since July 2003.
