Freedom Communications Deploys WebSideStory HBX Analytics

Feb 21, 2006

WebSideStory, Inc., a provider of on-demand digital marketing applications, has announced that Freedom Metro Information, a division of Freedom Communications, has selected the company's Web analytics solution to help optimize content, drive readership, and increase ad revenues across its online network.

Freedom Metro Information currently operates The Orange County Register; The Gazette in Colorado Springs, Colo.; and the East Valley Tribune in Mesa, Ariz. Freedom Metro Information's online division consists of the Web site for each of those newspapers, as well as several ancillary sites in each region, including sites for jobs, autos, real estate, classified advertising and community news. Freedom Metro Information will use HBX Analytics to get insight into how visitors are navigating its sites, what content they read, what links they click on, and what promotions they respond to. They will also use HBX's advanced segmentation capabilities to better target visitors and sell more advertising throughout its network. Freedom Metro Information chose WebSideStory after a review of several Web analytics vendors.

HBX Analytics is a completely hosted, full-service visitor analysis solution designed to help customers improve their online marketing and sales initiatives. HBX is a cornerstone of the WebSideStory Active Marketing Suite, a suite of integrated, on-demand digital marketing applications including Web analytics, site search, Web content management and keyword bid management (due later this year).
