VideoQuota has announced native support for protection By Referrer. Using By Referrer protection, a company can allow only those visitors coming from approved Web sites to see protected online content. Businesses such as online information resources for publicly traded companies often sell online content using the By Referrer business model. This business model exposes their content to members of approved Web sites. The referring Web site is charged a monthly fee for allowing access for its members.

To help prevent account abuse, VideoQuota includes Limit-Concurrent-Logins, which is designed to help identify users who have given away (or worse, posted on the Internet) their username and password. Dictionary Attack Protection identifies illicit persons who try to hammer the username/password fields with random entries. VideoQuota provides member-only access to both MMS (streaming media) and HTTP Web content that is completely separate from NT usernames and passwords. Additionally, administrators can password protect all of their Web content served on Windows NT or Windows 2000/2003 servers, running IIS 3, 4, 5, or 6. Promotional pricing begins at $795.
