Facebook has reached a deal to acquire FriendFeed, a service for sharing online. As part of the agreement, FriendFeed's 12 employees will join Facebook and FriendFeed's founders will hold senior roles on Facebook's engineering and product teams. All four of FriendFeed's founders were veterans of Google's software development department, including Bret Taylor, the group product manager who launched Google Maps. Financial terms of the deal were undisclosed.
