EyeWonder Unveils Six New Video Ad Formats

Mar 23, 2004

EyeWonder, Inc., a provider of instant streaming video solutions for the Internet, has announced the launch of six new video ad formats and fourteen new interactive features, designed to deliver new levels of effectiveness to online advertisers. Advertisers and agencies can now select from thousands of potential ad combinations to create and deliver the emotional messaging inherent in TV advertising combined with the interactivity available online.

EyeWonder's video ad formats--including banner ads, multi-layer ads, expandable ads, floating ads, pop-out ads, pop-up ads, and video ads embedded into AOL's instant messaging client, AIM--all use the company's new fourth generation instant streaming technology, EYERIS G4. EyeWonder ads deliver video to most PCs, Macs, mobile, and other Internet-connected devices, with no need for any media player download, upgrade, or Flash plug-in. Video ads play instantly with no buffer or load time when a viewer arrives at a Web page, and bandwidth detection and multiple bit rate encoding ensure the most optimized viewing experience available online.

America Online (AOL) and Yahoo! have made three of EyeWonder's formats--video banners, video multi-layer, and video pop-out ads--available at no extra charge over their regular rich media rates. EyeWonder also offers new features like video zoom (which allows viewers to launch a expanded video window from an ad to see full screen video), slideshow presentation, and dynamic data presentation.
