Ex Libris Rosetta 2.0, the latest version of Ex Libris Group's digital preservation system, is currently undergoing beta testing at the National Library of New Zealand, with a scheduled release for all Rosetta customers this spring.
Rosetta 2.0 features a new, Open Archival Information System (OAIS)-compliant preservation planning module that helps institutions manage their archives and choose an appropriate file format. It also includes new safeguards against the deletion of content and a new permanent storage capacity that allows items on that disk to be restored at any time.
