Euromonitor International has announced it will launch a new internet database, Countries & Consumers, and a new web interface for its flagship business information resource, the Global Market Information Database (GMID). Countries & Consumers provides users with access to Euromonitor International's data and analysis on countries and consumers in one accessible database. It offers detailed information on population structures, household profiles, income and expenditure, the economy, the business environment, consumer behavior, spending habits, and more. The launch of a new web interface for the Global Market Information Database sees content being organized into industry, country, and consumer page views. These new pages are content ‘portals,' which provide links to all of the available information rather than content being ‘hidden' behind tree or text search functions.
