Endeavor Information Systems has announced the opening of regional offices in Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and Singapore. The Endeavor expansion provides service to libraries in Europe, Latin America, and Asia. The regional offices are intended to encourage local awareness of Endeavor's LinkFinderPlus OpenURL-enabled link resolver and the ENCompass system for managing, searching, and linking collections, including the recently announced ENCompass for Journals OnSite (EJOS) system for storage, searching, and browsing of local journal content.

Endeavor will continue to provide services through regional offices in Melbourne to serve Australia and New Zealand libraries and London to serve the United Kingdom and European libraries, in addition to headquarters in Des Plaines (Chicago), Illinois, serving North American academic and research libraries. Endeavor has also named expanded sales staff in these locations to meet the demand for the company's digital library software systems. Representing Endeavor are these Product Sales Managers: Emeka Akaezuwa, New York; Dante Cid, Rio de Janeiro; Joost Gerdes, Amsterdam; Eric Mulder, Amsterdam; and Weai Chee Tan, Singapore.
