Emerald Launches Collections in Education and Sociology

Emerald Group Publishing Limited, a publisher of scholarly journals and books, announced the launch of Emerald Education Plus and Emerald Sociology Plus, two new electronic collections of journals and books designed for education and sociology researchers, academics, and policy makers. With contributions from experts in 110 countries, both collections offer an international and authoritative perspective on their subject areas.

Emerald Education Plus focuses on multicultural education, diversity, and social justice titles. Among the study areas covered in the collection are vocational learning, early childhood education, and educational psychology. This collection includes 34 journals and 31 book series.

Emerald Sociology Plus offers leading works in many fields, including political theory and social change, as well as work, economy, and organization. Editors from Emerald's Sociology portfolio include eminent scholars such as Bill Freudenburg , Patrick Coy, Lisa Keister and Julian Go. The collection includes 38 book series and 20 journals.

Both collections offer free access to journal archives and digitised book series backlist before the year of subscription, which grants access in perpetuity to newly published content.
