Elsevier released Protein Viewer, a new interactive feature of SciVerse ScienceDirect for the Journal of Molecular Biology. The viewer allows users to expand and rotate molecules within the actual article itself, embedding features from the World Protein Database and Jmol, increasing ease of access. Readers of journal articles can now be more active and visually focus on areas pertinent to their specific areas of research. Among other features, Protein Viewer allows readers to choose the display, size, angle, and colors of all molecular components.
