Elsevier, Health Sciences and Really Strategies Launch Editorial and Production System

Elsevier, Health Sciences Division and Really Strategies have announced the launch of a new editorial and production system for the pharmaceutical reference, Mosby's Drug Consult. Really Strategies was retained by Elsevier to replace a legacy system that stored, managed, and delivered Mosby's Drug Consult pharmacologic content. The new platform and technologies used to implement this system were based on standards defined by Elsevier. The technical architecture incorporated J2EE development methods, in an effort to be more scalable and maintainable and can be built on top of for products such as electronic products or derivative texts.
