Eight Publishers Add Content to MetaPress

Eight publishers have added journal content to MetaPress, an electronic content-management and hosting service. MetaPress provides access control to publisher content with integration of titles and subscribers in a publisher-branded, online environment.

Publishers that have selected MetaPress as their partner for electronic content distribution, include: McFarland & Company Inc. Publishers, a provider of scholarly and reference books in the United States; Peter Lang, a distributor of academic publications in the humanities and social sciences; Stylus Publishing, a distributor for independent publishers and non-government organizations, that publishes books for teachers, administrators, and policymakers; Boston University, on behalf of the Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation, publishes the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Journal which provides information to the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals with psychiatric disabilities; ELT Press, offers studies on turn-of-the-century British writers; The National Catholic Bioethics Center, a conductor of research, consultation, publishing, and education, promotes human dignity in health care and the life sciences; College of Public Affairs and Community Service and the School of Public Administration at the University of Nebraska, publishers of Administrative Theory & Praxis; and Philosophia Africana, a philosophy journal, which publishes academic philosophical works exploring the experiences of Africa and the Black Diaspora from both universal and comparative points of view.
