EasyBib launched an app for the iPad after success of its iPhone app released in June. The iPad app contains the same features as the app for iPhone, but is optimized for a larger screen. After downloading the app, writers can either scan the barcode of a book or type in a book's title and the app generates an accurate citation following MLA, APA, or Chicago style.
Citations can be exported by email or to the EasyBib.com bibliography management service. Since iPads are being used in classrooms, the EasyBib app also includes EasyBib notebook, which reflects the note card citation system often taught in K-12 classrooms. The EasyBib service, which is owned by ImagineEasy Solutions, LLC, says the next item on its agenda is rolling out an Android app.
