EBSCOhost Databases Offer Searchable Cited References

EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO) will produce a citation indexing for literature in the following disciplines: business, communication and mass media, nursing and allied health, and sociology. Existing customers of EBSCOhost databases in these areas will have improved access to citation indexing in these subjects.

Business Source Complete and Business Source Premier are scholarly business research databases. The databases also provide searchable cited references for more than 1,200 journals. EBSCO also created backfiles for this collection. Communication & Mass Media Complete (CMMC) is a scholarly communication and communications database. The database also provides searchable cited references for 307 journals. Citation indexing backfiles were also created for this database. All subscribers to CMMC receive this feature at no additional charge. CINAHL Plus with Full Text is a nursing and allied health research database. CINAHL Plus with Full Text is a full-text research tool for its subject areas; however, it also contains searchable cited references for 1,174 journals. All subscribers to these products (via the EBSCOhost platform) have access to this information. SocINDEX is a comprehensive index to sociology journals. There is a full text version (SocINDEX with Full Text). SocINDEX provides searchable cited references. It provides citation indexing for nearly 2,000 titles, including many back to volume 1, issue 1 (as far back as the 1800s). Subscribers to SocINDEX or SocINDEX with Full Text receive this data at no additional charge.
