EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO) has partnered with Arte Publico Press to provide a new digital collection of historical content pertaining to U.S. Hispanic literature and culture. In conjunction with Arte Público, EBSCO is digitizing aspects of the "Recovering the U.S. Hispanic Literary Heritage Project." The Recovering the U.S. Hispanic Literary Heritage Project is a national project to locate, preserve, and disseminate Hispanic culture of the United States in its written form since colonial times until 1960. The Recovering the U.S. Hispanic Literary Heritage Project has compiled a comprehensive bibliography of more than 17,000 records of books and pamphlets produced by Latinos in the United States until 1960. The initial collection to be digitized includes approximately 60,000 historical articles and 1,100 historical books. The content will be indexed and searchable in both Spanish and English.
