EBSCO Publishing Launches Jewish Studies Source Database

EBSCO Publishing released Jewish Studies Source, a full-text database devoted to the study of Judaism. The database offers a multidisciplinary look at the study of Jewish civilization from its historical origins to the present, covering a variety of areas of study, including archaeology, anthropology, area studies, ethnic studies, history, languages, philosophy, political science, religious studies, and women's studies.

In total, the database draws on information from 121 academic journals and magazines within the discipline, including 65 that are unavailable through other EBSCO databases. Also provided are monographs, articles from major newspapers, more than 1,440 biographies of historical and contemporary Jews, and full-text backfiles with content dating as far back as 1922.
