EBSCO announced the completion of the beta and feedback portions of its development for EBSCONET ERM Essentials, an upcoming product designed to help librarians manage e-resources. The company announced positive feedback from the beta test groups, which comprised some 25 library customers in two rounds over the past year.
The platform provides an intuitively-designed central platform for librarians to manage resources, and is pre-populated for orders of online journals and information packages, relying on daily updates to ensure accuracy. It also features integration across numerous EBSCO platforms and tools, such as EBSCO A-to-Z and EBSCONET.
EBSCONET ERM Essentials is scheduled to launch to coincide with this year's ALA Midwinter Meeting.
