EBSCO Announces New Databases

EBSCO Publishing has announced the release of Education Research Complete. Education Research Complete offers a collection of full-text education journals. This resource is a bibliographic and full text database covering scholarly research and information relating to all areas of education. Topics covered include all levels of education from early childhood to higher education, and all educational specialties, such as multilingual education, health education, and testing. Education Research Complete also covers areas of curriculum instruction as well as administration, policy, funding, and related social issues. The database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 1,500 journals, as well as full text for more than 750 journals. This database also includes full text for more than 100 books and monographs as well as full text for numerous education-related conference papers.

EBSCO Publishing has also released Environment Complete, a set of research for online environmental studies, a full-text database available via EBSCOhost. Environment Complete offers coverage in applicable areas of agriculture, ecosystem ecology, energy, natural resources, marine and freshwater science, geography, pollution and waste management, environmental technology, environmental law, public policy, social impacts, urban planning, and more. Environment Complete contains more than 1,280,000 records from 1,200 domestic and international titles going back to the 1950s (including 642 active core titles) as well as 100 monographs. The database also contains full text for 400 journals. Additionally, Environment Complete provides full text for 80 monographs. The database also offers full text for the conference papers of the North American Association of Environmental Education.

EBSCO Publishing has also announced Computers and Applied Sciences Complete for applied science researchers. Computers and Applied Sciences Complete covers applied sciences, representing collected knowledge on traditional engineering challenges and providing material for research concerning the business and social implications of new technology. This database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 1,300 academic journals, professional publications, and other reference sources. Full text is also available for more than 500 periodicals. Subject areas include the many engineering disciplines, computer theory and systems, new technologies, and social and professional context. Research is aided by the inclusion of searchable cited references for journals.
