EBSCO Publishing has announced the availability of a new search experience for the International Security and Counter Terrorism Reference Center (ISCTRC). While ISCTRC will continue to be made available through the EBSCOhost interface, subscribers can use the new interface in order to maximize their searching of the database.
ISCTRC offers information on security, counter-terrorism, risk management, public health, civil liberties, disaster response, and preparedness. The database is designed to inform the analysis process, as well as enhance the general understanding of these issues. Features of the new ISCTRC include: highlighting important source types in the database; providing access to information on people, places, and organizations; featuring topics on terrorism and security; highlighting key titles, reports, and books pertaining to the subject matter; and offering news content from several sources.
All applicable customers will have the option of using the new ISCTRC interface in addition to their existing EBSCOhost access or in place of it, depending on their particular needs. There is no platform fee for the interface above the price of the ISCTRC database itself.
