EBSCO Acquires Taylor & Francis Database Ergonomics Abstracts

Oct 13, 2011

EBSCO Publishing acquired Ergonomics Abstracts, a database focused on ergonomics and human factors, from Taylor & Francis. The database provides indexing for ebooks, journal articles, and reference works, and includes abstracts of articles and records from more than 135,000 works covering more than 25 years of ergonomics research.

Ergonomists, health and safety specialists, human factors engineers, and physical therapists, in addition to researchers, will find a comprehensive index in Ergonomics Abstracts, which also provides content from psychology, physiology, biomechanics, and job design. EBSCO's acquisition of Ergonomics Abstracts is designed to support the needs of libraries and expand users' access to research information. Ergonomics Abstracts is expected to migrate to the EBSCOhost platform by the end of the year.
