BEST PRACTICES SERIES

DotNetNuke Corp. released the Enterprise Edition of its widely-used DotNetNuke content management platform. The release includes the new DotNetNuke Content Staging feature, which lets users edit and approve content on a staging server prior to publishing the content on the live site. Also new to the release is the Content Localization feature, which simplifies the management of multi-language web sites.

Other features include an audit tool that creates a record of all publishing events, a user-defined white list that helps manage module and content settings, and a secure publishing function that makes it easier to stage production for the live site.

With the release of Enterprise Edition, DotNetNuke is dropping its existing Elite Edition, which will now be offered as Enterprise Edition plus Elite Support. The Elite Support option will also be available for the Professional Edition, and includes extended support hours, faster guaranteed support, priority management of support tickets, upgrade assistance, and source code access to the proprietary Enterprise and Professional modules.
