Digital Envoy Announces New Business Units

Digital Envoy, a provider of IP Intelligence solutions, has announced two new business units focused respectively on online fraud prevention and online advertising. One unit is Digital Resolve, which will provide solutions to prevent online fraud and identity theft to the financial services and Internet Service Provider (ISP) markets through its Fraud Analyst and E-Scam products; and the other unit is Digital Element, which will deliver IP Intelligence for targeted online advertising, Web analytics, local search optimization and customized communications to networks, Web sites, and search engines through its NetAcuity technology.

Bill Calpin will remain as the President and CEO of Digital Envoy and will continue to have overall responsibility for the direction of Digital Envoy as well as its newly formed business units. Furthermore, Rob Friedman, a co-founder of Digital Envoy and the EVP, corporate development for Digital Element, will lead that business unit's efforts in the online advertising, local search and analytics space. Dennis Maicon, also a co-founder of Digital Envoy and the EVP, financial services solutions for Digital Resolve, will spearhead this business unit's efforts in the financial services arena. The company's headquarters will remain in Norcross, Ga., and will also house the operations for the two business units.
