Digg, Inc., a social news site, announced a corporate expansion program funded by a $28.7 Million Series C investment round led by Highland Capital Partners. The $28.7 Million Series C funding also includes previous Digg investors Greylock Partners, Omidyar Network, and SVB Capital. The funding will help Digg, Inc. make expansions including the doubling of the company’s staff, a move to a larger corporate headquarters, and international expansion.
