Dialog, a Thomson business and a provider of online-based information

services and integrated information solutions, has added trademark records from three Central European countries to its collection of trademark records from around the world. The three new files are: TRADEMARKSCAN-Czech Republic (File 680) with 128,000 records updated monthly; TRADEMARKSCAN-Hungary (File 681) with 60,000 records updated monthly; and TRADEMARKSCAN-Poland (File 682) with 190,000 records updated quarterly. All are now available through the Dialog-branded family of online services. The new European content brings the total number of trademark files available through Dialog to 23. Each file can be searched individually or in conjunction with other trademark files, as well as with databases of other types of intellectual property information, such as Internet domain name registrations or patent records. The 23 trademark files represent records from 20 countries and two transborder patent authorities (the International Register and the European Union), as well as records from the 50 U.S. states. The combined total number of trademark records available through Dialog surpasses 15 million.
