Deviant Unveils Corporate Instant Messaging Appliance

Deviant Technologies, Inc., a developer of enterprise server appliances, has announced InterIM, its new instant messaging server appliance for small and large corporations. InterIM appliances are designed to provide companies a complete, secure and archivable business instant messaging solution that is compatible with most instant messaging platforms. The InterIM appliance has been designed primarily on Linux and other open source applications in an effort to be a cost-effective productivity and compliance tool. To broaden its sales reach, Deviant is seeking distribution arrangements with companies servicing the corporate sector in the US and in international markets. Deviant Technologies, Inc. is a venture backed private company devoted to the development and sale of a portfolio of productivity enhancing server appliances for corporations. Led by InterIM, Deviant is developing a product line of business application server appliances based primarily on open source applications designed to replace proprietary UNIX and Microsoft based alternatives.
