Countermind, LLC, a provider of mobile enterprise solutions, has announced that the Denver Health and Hospital Administration purchased an enterprise-wide license for the Mobile Intelligence Platform and Mobile Intelligence Application Assembler. Countermind's Mobile Intelligence products will be the enterprise-wide interface for point-of-care solutions across their 320-bed hospital and numerous clinics in the Denver, Colorado metro area.
Countermind's Mobile Intelligence (MI) products are designed to let healthcare organizations extend corporate business processes and technology infrastructure to field-based medical professionals through job and role specific data capture and dissemination applications. As a way of facilitating rapid user adoption, residents or visiting physicians can download point-of-care applications that don't require training. Applications are adapted to multiple or new form factors, such as Tablet PC's or commercial PDA's. Changes or new applications are assembled and deployed to users. New questions can be added to forms to become eligible for grant funding, or new regulatory requirements can be incorporated into the application and disseminated to users.
Denver Health is currently using the Mobile Intelligence Platform for their Infectious Disease Control Application, streamlining the collection of information, increasing the accuracy and reducing the time to reporting. Other hospital-wide and Women's Health applications are currently in development.
