Credo Reference signed an agreement with National Gallery, London to provide images and information from the National Gallery's collection of historic works to its online resources. In addition to high-resolution images of numerous paintings, the National Gallery will provide its companion guide, "If The Paintings Could Talk," and its visitor's guide, both of which include a wealth of information about the artists and works featured at the institution.
The National Gallery houses a collection of Western European paintings from the 13th to the 19th centuries and is on show 361 days a year. It includes works from masters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, and Cézanne.
