Copyright Clearance Center, a provider of copyright licensing and compliance solutions, has announced a number of new clients.

USA TODAY has selected Copyright Clearance Center's Rightslink as its online licensing solution. The newspaper will use Rightslink to enable individuals and organizations to order copyright permissions, hard copy reprints, digital reprints, and customized reprints that include full color articles, and illustrations directly from USATODAY.com. The Web-based solution is expected to go live in later this month. Copyright Clearance Center worked with USA TODAY to develop a customized Rightslink solution to meet its needs. Rightslink is designed to enable publishers to work with any printer or hosted platform, so they do not have to change their current workflow or business models.

Three scientific, technical, and medical (STM) publishers have also chosen Rightslink as their online licensing solution. The publishers—American Institute of Physics, Haworth Press, and Taylor & Francis—are using Rightslink to enable individuals and organizations to obtain reprints and copyright permissions online.
