Context Media, Inc., a provider of enterprise content integration (ECI) software solutions, has secured $11 million in funding round and announced the immediate availability of Context Media's Publishing Solution.

Lehman Brothers Venture Partners, a venture capital fund focused on investments in technology companies, led the funding round that also included investments from New Enterprise Associates, Adams Capital Management, and Shamrock Ventures II. Context Media will use the investment to expand sales and marketing activities.

The Context Media Publishing Solution is a new version of the company's content integration software designed to meet the content integration and management needs of publishers. The solution is intended to help publishers increase revenue opportunities and expand their reach to new audiences by improving the management, access, packaging, and distribution of digital content. Context Media's Publishing Solution also enables organizations to support multiple revenue models, including subscription and On Demand, and to manage and provide access both structured and unstructured digital content and media files.

Context Media's Publishing Solution handles the aggregation and categorization of digital content, which is many times stored in multiple systems throughout the publisher's media properties, so that it can be more easily delivered to new audiences in new markets. Context Media's Publishing Solution is based on open Web services standards, giving publishing organizations a platform to integrate content and information dispersed throughout a variety of content repositories across divisions and geographies. New features available in Context Media's Publishing Solution include Virtual Content Catalog, Content Packaging and Distribution, and Custom ePrints.
