Sirsi Corporation has announced that Cleveland Public Library (CPL) has selected the Sirsi suite of technology products and services for public libraries. The Library will install the Unicorn Library Management System, Web2 e-Library solution, Hyperion Digital Media Archive, and Sirsi Voice Automation (SVA), as well as a range of technology-related services.

The Cleveland Public Library is a public research library and also provides branch services throughout the city's neighborhoods. The main library collection contains nearly 10 million research and circulating items. CPL is comprised of the main library, 28 branches, and the sub-regional library for the blind and physically handicapped, which serves 55 Ohio counties. In addition, CPL administers the CLEVNET consortium. Established in 1982, CLEVNET includes 31 libraries, including two school systems, the Cleveland Law Library, and the Global Issues Resource Center. In 2002, consortium members collectively circulated 21.5 million items.
