ClearApps LLC, a software manufacturer specializing in network software utilities, announced the release of Network Inventory Advisor 3.5. The new version features the ability to add searchable user-defined data to nodes, and use these data fields in reports. Custom fields can be used to denote whether a node has a UPS or scanner attached, specify asset acquiring date, service tags, or warranty periods. Support of SNMP protocol and SNMP-powered devices was added and network devices scanning can be fully automated. The new version of the program also features command-line interface.
