Partners With Byron Hoyt

Apr 22, 2003, the new classical music listening service for libraries, has joined forces with digital sheet music provider Byron Hoyt to provide a classical music service for libraries, available in early summer. Byron Hoyt's digital sheet music product is powered by ebrary, a provider of information distribution and retrieval services. Libraries that purchase subscriptions to both Byron Hoyt's digital sheet music collection and's classical music listening service will be able to offer their patrons the ability to link between both. is a streaming classical music service for libraries, enabling patrons to listen to more than 10,000 classical music recordings at library computers or from home, as well as access thousands of program notes, biographies, and images. Licensing ebrary's technology, Byron Hoyt makes more than 7,000 classical sheet music titles available digitally as part of a library subscription. Links to the music player will be embedded into each sheet music file so the user can listen to the recording and access reference materials, as well as purchase the recordings as downloads or custom CDs.
