Endeavor Information Systems has announced the selection of the Voyager integrated library management system for the Plough Memorial Library at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN. Voyager replaces the current DRA Classic system, a first generation automated library circulation and cataloging system. This is the first Memphis-area independent implementation of the Voyager system. With more than 112,000 volumes, CBU's Plough Memorial Library serves 1,800 users in 25 major areas of study. A participant in the Southeastern Library Network (SOLINET), the Library shares cooperative lending privileges with eight other Memphis-area academic libraries in the metropolitan area. Special collections at the Plough Memorial Library include 125 years of archives of the University, as well as documents of Mother Teresa, research from Bolivian missionary Rev. Joseph John Higgins, materials covering the study of Napoleon Bonaparte, and the personal archives of Memphis-area civic leader Edward F. Barry.
