Central Desktop Expands Its Collaboration Platform to Intranets

Central Desktop, a collaboration platform, has announced that its Spring 2007 Release is live and available to all of its 30,000+ users worldwide. The Spring 2007 Release introduces an intranet for its company subscribers. The intranet includes a company directory, company calendar, and a dynamic interface that displays personalized data for each user. The intranet provides a central location for employees and members to share information with the entire company--outside the confines of the project they might be working on. The intranet includes dynamic auto-update features. Dynamic content such as company announcements, workspace activities, RSS Feeds, bookmarks, and favorite links "bubble up" from the various workspaces--create a real-time company intranet. The Spring 2007 Release of Central Desktop is available immediately. Standard pricing for Central Desktop starts at $25/month for 10 users. Additional plans accommodating larger teams and companies are available. A limited free version of the service is also available for trial use.
