Cambridge University Press Introduces University Publishing Online

Nov 02, 2011

Cambridge University Press launched University Publishing Online, an ebook and digital content platform that aggregates content from several scholarly presses worldwide. Extending the Cambridge Books Online offering, University Publishing Online aims to provide libraries with ebooks and database products from academic publishers. The offering includes access to more than 13,000 titles from the participating presses.

So far, University Publishing Online comprises aggregated content from the Mathematical Association of America, Liverpool University Press, Foundation Books, and Cambridge University Press. Content from Edinburgh University Press and Nottingham University Press is expected to be added in 2012. Currently, users can search across all four available presses as well as Cambridge Journals Online to find relevant content, or they can limit their search to select publishers.

Institutions can purchase entire collections or can buy title-by-title from the publishers on the platform. Annual subscriptions will be available in January.
