The developers of Base-10 Content Management, a Web content management system designed to empower companies of all sizes to effectively manage business-critical Web site content, images, documents and email marketing campaigns, have added a Digital Asset Management platform to its software. The new feature in the Base-10 software allows users to store and organize a company's media and digital assets such as corporate branding images, logos, stock photos, audio, and visual files.

The system also allows for image and document manipulation. Images can be automatically changed to thumbnail or scaled for use on a Web site, and Base-10 will automatically label each item, designed to make it simple to catalog and locate files. Other features include: check in/check out; indexing and search automation; asset permissions; customizable workflow; and file folder options including upload, delete, rename, cut, and paste.
