Atlantic Media Strategies Rebrands as Atlantic57

Jan 11, 2018

The Atlantic’s consultancy and creative agency, formerly known as Atlantic Media Strategies, is unveiling a new name and brand— Atlantic 57. According to the announcement, the new name more fully embodies the agency’s industry-leading work, and it more closely aligns it with the legacy of The Atlantic.

Atlantic 57’s president, Jean Ellen Cowgill, introduced the new brand and strategy in a memo sent to The Atlantic’s staff—shared in full below. The memo says:

At Atlantic 57, we help organizations transform in service of their biggest ideas.

We help our clients advance their ambitions, succeed in a fast-evolving content landscape, and stay true to their purpose and brand. We work alongside leading institutions to figure out how their ideas can grow their business and change our world.

We love our new name because it enables us, the Atlantic 57 team, to continue to adapt and grow as well. And grow we have: from a handful of people in 2012 to a team of 50 editors, designers, strategists, researchers, marketers, and engineers.”
