BEST PRACTICES SERIES

Asbru Software has released version 7.1 of the Asbru Web Content Management system. The new version includes several changes for mobile phones, online stores, and system integration.
Asbru Web Content Management already allowed users to create multiple versions of their websites for multiple platforms, but version 7.1 allows users to choose which version will show on a particular device.

Online stores can now offer discounts of several varieties, including fixed price, percentages, and buy-one-get-one-free offers. These can be enacted for a specific period of time or to specific users with a certain code.

Finally, a number of new application programming interfaces (APIs) have been added to version 7.1 for archiving, backup, and publishing of content items to external servers. Other new APIs enable publishers to allow users to upload photos and videos to message boards and to manage inventory, among other functions.
