Amazon and the Hearst Corporation expanded their relationship regarding consumer marketing, ecommerce, and content. The companies announced that Amazon will become the largest third-party seller of print subscriptions for Hearst's magazines over digital channels, and will also work with Hearst in ecommerce.

The deal will enable Amazon customers to access content from one of the world's largest publishers of monthly magazines, while providing Hearst with access to Amazon's renowned ecommerce platform. Hearst has sold more than 4 million magazine subscriptions online to date, and expects the expanded agreement to increase its digital sales. The deal may also result in more content for the Kindle and pending Amazon tablet.
