Amazon announced the launch of GameCircle for the company's Kindle Fire. GameCircle will offer gaming customers a series of features such as achievements to keep track of trophies, leader boards to see how players stack up against others, and a sync feature that lets players save in-game progress. Amazon believes these features will make games more social and fun on the Kindle Fire.

Additionally, Amazon will open up API's for game developers, which Amazon says will allow developers to quickly and easily integrate their games with GameCircle. By doing this, Amazon believes developers will then be able to grow their business and reach new customers. This feature is now available for review on the Amazon website.
